1. CALL TO ORDER - President Norvill called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m= .

Motion by Vangunten, second= ed by Newlan to approve the J= une 19, 2008 minutes of the regular meeting. Motion carried.

Motion by Potts, seconded b= y Newlan to approve the executive session minutes of the June 19, 2008 regular meeting. Motion carried.

Motion by Schwader, seconde= d by Vangunten to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. On roll call, the following votes = were recorded:

7. SUPERINTENDENT/PRINCIPAL REPORT

Progress has been delayed w= ith our life-safety project. The HVAC= units were ordered, but

had not arrived yet. School registration dates will be = August 6^th and 7^th. Originally the

time of registration was se= t for 7:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. If an evening time is desired, we can

switch from day time to an = evening time. Our audit with Gorenz &= amp; Associates went well.

The school district still h= as a perfect 4.0 financial profile. Cleaning of classrooms in the

lower elementary wing has begun. Most of the interior w= ork depends upon the progress of

our life-safety project.

A. Approv= e to move the regular November Board Meeting to Monday, November 17, 2008.=

Motion by Potts, seconded b= y Vangunten to approve to move the regular November Board Meeting to Monday, November 17, 2008. Motion carried.

B. Approv= e the IRS mileage rate of 58.5 cents effective July 1, 2008.

Motion by Newlan, seconded = by Pool to approve the IRS mileage rate of 58.5 cents effective July 1, 2008. On roll call, the following votes w= ere recorded:

C. Approv= e the Student/Parent Handbook for 2008-2009.

Motion by Newlan, seconded = by Pool to approve the Student/Parent Handbook for 2008-

2009 as presented. Motion carried.

11. OTHER BUSINESS

A. Approve for school= registration to be held on Wednesday August 6^th from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Thursday August 7th from 11:00 a.m. -= 7:00 p.m.
