1. CALL TO ORDER - President Norvill called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m= .

4. BOARD REORGANIZATION

Motion by Potts, seconded by Schwader to approve to nominate Steve Norvill as Board President. Motion carried.

        &= nbsp;   B. Approve to nominate Shauna Schwade= r as Board Vice-President.

Motion by Potts, seconded b= y Taylor to approve= to nominate Shauna Schwader as Board Vice-President. Motion carried.

9. SUPERINTENDENT/PRINCIPAL REPORT

Awards Assembly will be hel= d on Wednesday May 21^st at 1:00 p.m. Graduation w= ill be

held on Thursday May 22nd at 7:00 p.m. During the 2009-2009 school year, = we will be

piloting a reading interven= tion program for grades K-2. This = is part of the Response to

Intervention (RtI) program.= In 2009-2010, grade levels will be expanded along with

piloting math interventions= . The Class A State Track Meet went smoothly with everyone’s

help.

A. Approve to employ = Ms. Shauna Schwader, Mrs. Nancy Vangunten, and Mrs. Lee Ann Potts as tri-Athletic Directors for the 2008-2009 school = year.

Motion by Newlan, seconded = by Taylor to approve= to employ Ms. Shauna Schwader, Mrs. Nancy Vangunten, and Mrs. Lee Ann Potts as tri-Athletic Directors for the 2008-2009 school year. On roll call, the following votes were recorded:

7^th grade basket= ball coach for the 2008-2009 school year, with the stipulation that there be
