Vice President Schwader called the
meeting to order at
Members present: Ms. Schwader, Mr. Newlan, Mrs. Pool, Mrs. Potts, and Superintendent Peyton
Members absent: Ms. Cunefare, Mr. Dearing, and President Norvill
Examination and Brief
Review of the Levy Data:
Superintendent Peyton made a brief presentation of the
recommended tax levy for 2005. He
informed the board that the 2005 levy was an increase of 9.98% over last year’s
request. The figures that were discussed
were figures that former Superintendent Mueller had in place. A notice was posted in the newspaper on
Vice President Schwader called for questions and/or comments on the levy from the audience:
No questions were asked
Vice President Schwader announced the close of the public hearing.
Motion by Newlan, seconded by Potts to adjourn the Truth in Taxation Hearing at
YEAS: Newlan, Pool, Potts, and Schwader
