Text Box: Kindergarten Registration Kindergarten registration for the 2011—2012 school year will occur March 14th - March 18th from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1st, 2011 are eligible for kindergarten. The child’s “certificate of live birth” (from the courthouse) is required for registration. Appointments will be set up during registration for your child to be screened at a later date. Physical, dental, and vision exams must be completed and turned in to the school office by Aug. 16, 2011. Call the school office at 694-1409, extension 221 to make other arrangements. Text Box: Text Box: Fondulac Library Events Story Hours Story hours are now in session Mondays at 10am for three to five year olds, Tuesdays at 10am for two to three year olds with parent, Tuesday at 1pm for two to five year olds with parent and Thursdays at 10am for one to two year olds with parent. For more information call 699-3917. Kids in the Kitchen On March 5 from 2-3pm, students in Kindergarten-2nd grade are invited to come to the library to make a fun snack! The kids will prepare Yogurt Parfaits, Chocolate Pretzel Sticks, and Puppy Chow. To ensure that we have enough food for this free program, please call the library to register. Text Box: Lego Program The library is having a Lego program on March 17 at 6:30 p.m. Children in grades K— 5 are welcome to attend. The theme for the night will be circus. This program is an opportunity for building enthusiasts to share ideas and tips and have a great time! Registration is not required for this free program. The library is always looking for donations of gently used Lego building blocks for this program.  Paws to Read On March 19 at 2:00 p.m. the library will host Paws to Read. The reading sessions are scheduled through the Education Center at Peoria Humane Society. Please contact the Peoria Humane Society’s resource library at 672-2447 to register for this program. Magyk Program Calling all Septimus Heap fans for a Magyk program at 2:00 pm on March 22. We will have a fun sheet, make a dragon craft, and play a character guessing game. Make sure you’ve read the book Magyk by Angie Sage. This free program is for 4th - 8th grade students. Registration is not required.

Spaghetti & Torpedo Dinner

Robein Families, please join us on Thursday, April, 7 from 4:30 to 7:00 for a delicious Spaghetti or Torpedo Dinner or order carry-out dinners.  Several items will be raffled off as well as a 50/50 raffle.  At 7:00, 7th/8th grade basketball team will play their fathers!!  Look for an informational flyer to come home mid-March.
